Positive: This was bitterly the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in – hands down! From the moment we walked in, everything exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless, beautifully styled, and incredibly cosy. It truly felt like a home away from home (but better!). The spa was such a treat after a long day, and the garden was absolutely stunning – peaceful, private, and so well looked after. Every detail was just perfect. We only stayed for one night and genuinely didn’t want to leave. If you're coming to Christchurch – book this place without thinking twice. It’s unforgettable!

Positive: The property was immaculate. It's a real escape just 10 mins from the city. The house has been beautifully renovated and no detail has gone unnoticed. The grounds are spectacular. It reminded us of the secret garden. We stayed overnight with a couple of friends and wished we could have stayed a week. The spa and pool were amazing and the grounds vast. So much so that we barely scratched the surface. From the outset Annes hospitality was second-to-none. She even purchased some champagne flutes knowing it was for a birthday celebration. Could not fault it. Amazing stay.
Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. Was perfect.

Positive: Beautiful Home! Has absolutely everything you need, very spacious, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. Anne was amazing. She went out of her way to organise a portacot and bedding for our youngest. There were fresh flowers and even a complimentary bottle of wine. Garden is stunning! Close walk to the local coffee shop which I would also highly rate. Our stay was amazing and I would highly recommend!!

Positive: This cottage is an absolute gem - just like the thoughtful host! If you would like a luxurious experience then this one is for you. Just like the outside of the cottage, the interior design is beautiful and we enjoyed taking in all of the different elements. The spa was very relaxing and set in a beautiful courtyard, which was surrounded by little hedges and a cottage garden. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and we all had a wonderful sleep. It was lovely to wake up and relax on the couch with a cup of tea in the morning while looking out of windows into the garden and beyond. The host was very thoughtful and offered to tell us the historic background of the property and was generous in letting us explore the property (which we regretfully did not have time for on this trip). There were also some nice little touches that we enjoyed like the cookies and chilled water and milk in the fridge. The cottage is also not so far from the CBD because of the faster roads en route and is absolutely worth the trip. Everything was lovely!
